Rise Above the Clouds is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing trauma-informed summer camps for children and youth who have experienced foster care or other forms of trauma. We aim to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can build positive relationships, develop new skills, and most importantly, heal. Our organization and our camps are designed and run by social scientists, trained professionals and other qualified volunteers who have a deep understanding of the unique needs of children who have experienced trauma.

Sending your foster child to our camp can be a transformative experience that can set them on a path to healing and growth. Our camps provide a supportive community where children can develop a sense of belonging and self-worth. They will have the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging activities that are specifically designed to promote healing and positive development. Our goal is to help children who have experienced trauma feel empowered and confident in themselves and their futures. By attending our camp, your foster child can gain the tools and skills they need to thrive and succeed in life.

Although we are still in the fundraising and planning stage, we have already taken great strides towards designing and developing the heart of our camps for high risk youth. We have assembled a wonderful team who all share a passion for the values and mission of Rise Above the Clouds, and look forward to partnering with even more incredible people!
